Music Industry Reviews

"Victoria Fuller's CD "Small Moments" is a wonderful
listening experience. It is full of those "small
moments" that bring back a memory, make you laugh, or
even bring a tear to your eye. Victoria is an
artist, and like the finest works of art, her songs
continually reveal new subtleties on repeated
listening. She reveals herself to be a gifted
singer-songwriter, with a voice that serves her songs
well."

" Your Heart" has a good groove and "Crazy To Be In Love" has a nice rolling vocal melody and upbeat tune.
Nice well crafted songs, nice lyrics, vocal melody, good job."

"The song, "Right One Wrong Time", has a quality about it that truly strikes a chord with me."

"Her lyrics are economical and very muscular, with rhymes often delivered in staccato couplets. The instrumentation is simple and unadorned, her evocative acoustic guitar occasionally blended with keyboards, drums or bass, the odd electric guitar flourish. Front and center is Fuller’s voice, which caresses each melody like a wrapper on candy. She manages to evoke Joni Mitchell without sounding like Mitchell, or Rickie Lee Jones without mimicking Jones. Her supple voice moves quickly and easily through a range of styles including jazz, folk and rock, often in the same song, sometimes in the same chorus. The title track exemplifies this. Lyrically, the fully arranged “Why We Can’t Agree” manages to reconcile pathos and playfulness in a very disarming and surprising way."

"Victoria Fuller has the pure, sweet vocals of a folk singer, but on her full-length debut, Small Moments, she leans more toward light jazz and easy listening. Fuller’s observations on various romantic entanglements are to the point. She’s most effective on songs with strong melodies, like the bouncing pop of “Why Can’t We Agree” and the acoustic-based “Best Friend.”"

Listening Public Reviews

"Great sound, my wife and I both were thrilled with this cd.
Best Friend (my favorite), Small moments, I Confess, there all great. If you like Aimee Mann, I think you'll really like this one; End of a long day I like to put this cd on and just let my troubles float away."
